Pedalboard Design and Instruction

Putting together functionality with the sound you are trying to achieve

Strymon Compadre

299

Start your signal chain with the best possible version of your guitar  tone. Treat your guitar signal to true studio quality analog compression  with two distinct voices for smooth transparency or vintage squeeze.  Hit the Boost switch to add clean boost or soft-clipped dirty boost,  with the EQ curve of your choice. Mix in some dry signal for natural  attack even with extreme compression settings. Feel the  dynamic response, feeding your amp and effects just what they need.

Strymon Timeline

449

We  spent months locked up in the Strymon sound design labs dreaming up the  most spacious, lush, creative, and tweakable delay effects ever heard.  It was a monumental task—a relentless study of delays and their nuances,  and a continuous pursuit of innovative and musically inspirational  sounds. Utilizing a ridiculously powerful SHARC DSP, every drop of processing power is harnessed.

Strymon Night Sky

429

Create vast soundscapes with just a few notes from your instrument.  Apply mind-bending pitch and harmonic manipulation to your reverb tails,  with synth-like filter sweeps. Enter a world of new sounds that blow  away the boundaries of what is possible with reverb. With pioneers and  adventurous sonic explorers in mind we created a reverb pedal that can  go where none have gone before. .

Strymon Deca

379

Add warm dimensionality and luscious tape saturation to your signal.  Teleport the tones of yesteryear to your board. Effortlessly create a  huge range of beautiful, distinctive, and enveloping vintage sounds.

Strymon Riverside

299

Riverside is the culmination of a thorough analysis of numerous analog  and vacuum tube circuits. Our goal? To deliver a new world of  harmonically rich, incredibly versatile, tube-inspired drive sounds. We  didn’t want to build just another distortion or overdrive. We knew we  must examine what has been done, and bring a new approach to the world  of drive sounds.

Strymon Big Sky

379

Plug into blueSky for the most lush, majestic reverbs imaginable. Transform a single note or chord into vast sonic atmospheres with impossibly gorgeous, incredibly long reverb tails. Hear the inspiring splash of an upgraded spring algorithm dripping with vintage vibe. Lose track of time and space as you interact with deep and expansive new Shimmer sounds never heard anywhere before.

Strymon Iridium

399

Nothing reveals the true nature of your guitar and your playing like a  world-class tube amp driving a perfectly matched speaker cabinet in a  great sounding room. Now there is a pedal that truly delivers that sound  and feel, with simple controls for effortlessly dialing in the perfect  amp tone when going direct. Discover inspiring tube amp responsiveness,  unprecedented impulse response speaker cabinet realism, and controllable  natural sounding room ambience.

Strymon Sunset

299

Dual Overdrive Pedal with 6 Overdrive/Boost Circuits, Series/Parallel Operation, and Expression Pedal Input .   Sunset gives you the best of the best classic overdrive circuits, custom  voiced for instantly gratifying control over a huge range of  sought-after tones. We studied six circuit types found in many truly  timeless and iconic overdrive and boost pedals, and put our takes on all  six of them into a single two-channel unit.

Strymon Mobius

449

It was an enormous mission—we painstakingly studied the nuances of the  legendary modulations of celebrated tremolo effects, phaser pedals,  chorus units, and more from the last five decades. We didn’t stop at  faithfully capturing these warm and lush vintage sounds—we expanded  their vocabulary with extended versatility and sonic possibilities never  before heard.

What The Fuzz

145

What The Fuzz is a 2 silicon transistor fuzz pedal capable of  everything from touch sensitive overdrive to thick, growling fuzz. This  pedal is very responsive to your guitar’s volume and tone controls. What  The Fuzz works great with other pedals and prefers to first in the  pedal chain for allow for maximum interaction with your guitars  controls. This pedal is the result of my personal need for an old school  type fuzz but with added versatility including an increased fuzz range.

Fuzz-It

155

This one knob hybrid fuzz pedal is actually two circuits in one. With the  toggle set to the left it is a germanium fuzz that has a thick warm  sound and is very interactive with your guitars volume knob. Flip the  toggle to the right and the germanium fuzz circuit is cascaded into a  silicon based circuit producing an almost broken sound that brings this  fuzz into the dystopian modern age. The one knob controls volume.  Made  with NOS Soviet germanium transistors that are carefully matched.
